About Al-Safeer · London

The accountants who answer the phone

Al-Safeer Accounting Services was established in London in 2023 by Ibrahim, an AAT licensed accountant.

Three years inside other practices convinced him that most small businesses were paying well for filing and getting nothing in the way of explanation. We are a small, deliberately hands-on firm – bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, corporation tax, self assessment and company formation, run end to end in QuickBooks for a fixed monthly fee agreed before we start.

Our story

Built on referrals, not advertising

We have never run an advertising campaign. Al-Safeer has grown rapidly and organically through referrals from clients happy enough to put their own name behind the recommendation, supported by nothing more elaborate than business cards and a phone that gets answered. That is a slower way to build a firm and a much better test of one: a referral only happens when the last piece of work was genuinely good. It also shapes how we work – a practice that lives on referrals cannot afford a client who feels ignored, so we keep our list at a size we can actually serve.

  • Founded in London in 2023
  • Grown almost entirely by word of mouth
  • You deal with the person who does your books
  • A client list kept small on purpose
What we stand for

Four things we will not trade away

Every firm publishes values. The useful question is what each one stops you doing – ours are written so they cost us something.

Unwavering integrity

We hold to an unwavering commitment to integrity in every part of the work. Ethical, transparent action is what forges bonds of trust with clients and establishes us as a genuine partner – and it is why we will tell you when something you want to claim is not claimable.

Agile adaptability

Our ability to navigate the ever-changing currents of the business world is what keeps clients ahead of it. We embrace change as an opportunity, crafting solutions that align with evolving needs rather than repeating last year’s process.

Client-centric excellence

Services of unparalleled quality, tailored meticulously to each client. Taking the time to understand the challenges and the ambition is what lets us exceed expectations and contribute to enduring success.

Informed leadership

As people who read the landscape for a living, we enlighten clients with astute insight and honest analysis. Informed leadership mitigates accounting risk and leads to better decisions – which is where the real value of an accountant sits.

Mission & vision

What we are for

Our mission
To deliver unparalleled, tailor-made services to each client, fully aligned with their own requirements – without exceptions. In practice that means no single package everybody is squeezed into: a contractor with one invoice a month and a retailer with three thousand card transactions a week do not need the same bookkeeping.
Our vision
To build an unshakeable foundation of trust, and to be genuinely ahead of the curve in understanding how a shifting business and tax landscape lands on the very different businesses we look after.
Reducing your risk
A central part of that vision is mitigating clients’ exposure to information and accounting risk – the missed deadline, the misread threshold, the record that cannot be produced when HMRC asks – so risk never turns into a penalty or a bad decision.
Proactive by default
When a threshold moves, a rate changes, or Making Tax Digital brings a new group into scope, we tell you before it becomes urgent. Most firms treat that as optional. We treat it as the job.

From the next filing period, with the books brought current and every deadline diarised.

Questions about
working with us

The things people ask before they move accountant.

Ask us something else

The person you speak to. Al-Safeer is a small practice by design – your work is done by an AAT licensed accountant, not passed down to an offshore processing team and returned for signature. You get one point of contact who knows your file.

Fees are fixed monthly and agreed before any work starts, based on the size and complexity of the business. There are no hourly charges for phone calls and no year-end invoice you did not see coming.

No, and you do not have to have the conversation. Once you appoint us we write for professional clearance and your records, register as your agent with HMRC, and take over from the next filing period.

We are QuickBooks specialists and it is what we recommend, because it is where we can work fastest and give you live figures rather than a picture of last quarter. Migration is included at no extra cost.

We are based in London and many of our clients are local, but everything we do works remotely. We look after businesses across the United Kingdom.

We handle it – the correspondence, the records HMRC has asked for, and the conversation, as your appointed agent. Because the bookkeeping is kept current, an enquiry is usually a matter of producing what already exists.
